Delicious Greens Smoothie

Smoothies are a foundational part of a healthy diet. Smoothies serve as a great way to get a boost of greens and vegetables into your daily diet. Adding a cup of greens to your daily smoothie not only tastes great it also reduces your daily vegetable requirements by one in a snap.



The trick to a good smoothie is using a high speed blender to accomplish a perfect blending of ingredients. All of the top high speed blenders on the market will do the job well.




Here is a go to recipe I've used over the years for its great taste and healthy ingredients:


Sweet Green Smoothie - 5 min prep

1 cup of kale or spinach

1 medium to large mango

1 banana

1 kiwi

1 cup of blueberries

1/8 cup of pea protein or hemp hearts

Optional: lemon wedge

Optional: 1 Tbsp Honey

Optional: 1 Apple or 1/2 cup unsweetened apple sauce
