“Sayta Ranch” is a must visit. Enrique and his full family of helpers will make you feel like you have a long lost second family living in a homely ranch in the countryside of Salta. Warm, welcoming, gentle and joyful - this is what you are met with as you walk through the rustic gates of this Ranch. I could not recommend this ranch anymore, it is a MUST visit, and if you want to experience your smile reach from ear to ear, then you would be stupid not to go.
We visited for the day and arrived around 10am to meet the team of horses, and of course be matched with one for your day. You then set off on your 3 hour horse riding adventure through the lush green countryside. You are separated into groups of 10, with an experienced leader of each pack to ensure we don’t get lead off the beaten track. Depending on how confident and skilled you are as a horse rider, you are able to run free through the sparse plains (of course with the guide watching closely). You will be taken through lush trails, gushing rivers and vegetable gardens that stretch across the horizon, all while propped up on a shiny horse overlooking the mountains or Argentina.
